Keo Pagoda

Keo Pagoda is situated in Dung Nhuc village, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, 130 kilometres from Hanoi.

Built in the early days of the 17^th century, the rectangular pagoda was rebuilt many times. The outside yard is a place or worship of Buddha, and the inside is a place of worship for Priest Khong Lo. The pagoda consists of 17 items with 128 apartments. The three-storey bell tower is an excellent architectural work which demonstrates fine carpentry skills. The pagoda itself is a fine example of Vietnamese provincial architecture.
